Tiernan & Co. Solicitors have a wealth of experience in personal injury claims.
Our aim is to secure the best possible award for you while making the process as simple and transparent as possible. Our Service is 100% client focused and we ensure effective communication by using plain language and updating you at each stage of your case. We have also taken steps to ensure that all claims can be transacted by telephone, email or post in order to reduce the inconvenience caused by the process of pursuing your claim.
We appreciate that making a personal injury claim can be an extremely daunting and stressful experience especially since most of us assume that the process will be difficult and costly.
We understand this and realise the importance of getting you back to your normal routine quickly and efficiently, and we endeavour to make the entire process as stress free as possible. Our simple claims process is as follows:
When you contact us, you will speak with one of our solicitors who will provide you with a helpful and friendly service to begin the claims process. We will discuss with you the circumstances of the accident and the injury that you have sustained. We can then make an appointment for you to come in to see us or in the alternative we can pursue your claim by telephone, email and post.
We will give you our expert opinion on the strength of your case and an estimate of the amount of compensation you are entitled to. If you decide to proceed you will be sent out some paperwork explaining the entire process.
Most of the work is done by us so it will take up very little of your time. We will send out a letter of claim to the defendant to inform them of your intention to claim for compensation for the injury caused to you. You will then be asked to go for a medical assessment to see how badly your injury has affected you. We will then if applicable assess your loss of earnings and out of pocket expenses and try to recover these.
